Job Description: This position monitors patients via remote camera apparatus via computer screens to ensure safety and mitigate
fall risk, with two-way communications with the patient and communication with nursing staffing in case of need
to intervene for patient safety. This position will monitor patient movement and direct patients when such
action imperils the patient's safety. They will call for nursing support and intervention when patient actions or
needs require such intervention to avert harm. Besides monitoring for fall, this position also monitors patient
behavior like suspicious behavior (drug activity), elopement risk, physically harmful actions, pulling at IV, tubes
drains, restraints. Any change in patient condition will be communicated to the patient's primary RN

Qualifications

E ducation: Completion of C.N.A. program
.

Experience:

Technical Skills: Computer fluency, basic medical situational awareness of patient safety
requirements and understanding of fall risk criteria. Fully cognizant of HIPAA
requirements.


License/Certification: Current C.N.A. license in the State of Nevada; Current BCLS Certification.

Other: Must be able to communicate and report patient welfare, safety, and security to RN
