Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to support a Global Department of Defense (DoD) network in Ft. Liberty, NC. This Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for creating systems software and analyze data to improve existing systems for Special Operations Forces (SOF) while leveraging new instances of Cloud Computing. This is a hybrid position that will report on site 2-3 times per wee k in Ft. Liberty, NC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong technical background with a very good understanding of core IT concepts.
• Proven skills, experience and career path focused on Cloud Services and Solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
• SME knowledge with modern DevOps solutions, IaC concept (e.g., Terraform, ARM Templates, Cloud Formation).
• Proven experience with containers and containers orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline running on Azure DevOps, GitHub, Gitlab or similar.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred).
• BS or equivalent experience + 6-8 yrs experience.
• Active Secret Clearance to be considered

Compensation Includes:

• $140,000 - $170,000 *depending on experience*
