This role is part of the UHG Enterprise Compensation and International Total Rewards team, which is responsible for design, development and deployment of tools, process and consulting around enterprise-wide and/or business specific compensation programs that support UnitedHealth Group and their assigned client groups. Also supports the client group objectives of attracting, retaining and motivating key talent with programs that are competitive and responsive to external influences and internal objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and support on moderately complex corporate and business segment compensation core processes, projects and initiatives
  • May independently lead moderately complex to complex compensation and business specific projects
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs and products and represent the business segments in corporate design efforts
  • Enables business compensation strategies through tools, capabilities and communications within the corporate compensation philosophy framework
  • Develops complex queries, reports and analysis to meet customer requests
  • Partners with various stakeholders to work on cross-functional initiatives, change management and implementation efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience working in Compensation or Human Capital
  • Data analysis experience, ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Proven ability to work effectively with teams across the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications, such as CCP
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or comparable HRIS system
  • Technical expertise in a multiple of the following: Salary survey participation, market data analysis, leading moderately complex projects, job evaluation, salary range analysis, and HRIS reporting
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated solid history of quickly building relationships and gaining credibility

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
