Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager lead the construction of a large SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) in Palmdale, CA. This facility will support critical U.S. government operations, necessitating strict adherence to security and quality standards US SOCOM.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and lead detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.

- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel, optimizing resource utilization to achieve project goals.

-Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting, ensuring projects are completed within budget and managing any financial deviations.

-Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and safety regulations, implementing and monitoring quality control and safety programs.

- Maintain regular communication with clients, provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

-Identify and mitigate risks, promptly resolve issues, and ensure the project remains on track.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5-7 years in construction project management, with a focus on secure facilities (e.g., SCIFs).

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements.

-Active Secret security clearance, fully adjudicated

Compensation:

-rate: $62/ hr- ~$67/ hr ($130,000-$140,000/year)

-Contract Duration: 6 months

-Per Diem: Available for non-local candidates to cover travel and lodging expenses; preference for local applicants

-Start Date: ASAP
