The Information Technology Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all IT contracts for healthcare services within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, IT procurement, and contract management to ensure that all IT services and products are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

The Information Technology Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing all IT contracts for healthcare services within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, IT procurement, and contract management to ensure that all IT services and products are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
Primary Accountabilities
- Serve as principal contracting advisor to IT Leadership in the acquisition planning process. Provide research and pertinent information to participate in decisions involving contractual matters.
- Serve as lead negotiator, generating bids, requests for information and perform as lead representative on contractual issues related to all Information Technology contracts.
- Analyze recommendations to formulate contracting strategies considering Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) programs versus local, competition maximization, pricing arrangements, subcontracting, and matters requiring unique acquisition techniques.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and healthcare stakeholders to identify needs and ensure that contracts meet those requirements.
- Monitor and analyze IT contract performance, ensuring that service levels and expectations are met
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and termination processes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and technology trends to adjust contract strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the legal department to mitigate risks and resolve any contract-related issues.

- Experience negotiating with hardware, cloud services, Saas and hosted services.
- Proven Experience with HIPAA and NIST
- Extensive knowledge of IT software and hardware licensing models used by various vendors for total value management.
