Sr. Data Architect

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Data Architect to support a long-term program with the NGA located in Springfield, VA. The Sr. Data Architect will help analyze an existing environment and implement critical changes and improvements to ensure geospatial and imagery data is properly stored, cataloged, and structured. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Data Science/Management and will be able to provide a consultative viewpoint to help ensure the best solutions are in place.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Data Architect:
• Provide subject matter expertise on the enterprise environment and determine what tools, software, and databases are optimal for performance and mission critical functions.
• Work with key stakeholders to determine best solutions to optimize search tools, metadata organization, indexing, and catalog content.
• Analyze and categorize data and metadata.
• Work with various tools and platforms to help with data management, transformation, visualization,, analysis, and organization.

Requirements for the Sr. Data Architect:
• 10+ years of experience
• Expertise with Data Architecture
• Active TSSCI (Active CI Poly preferred but we can upgrade you)

Compensation for the Sr. Data Architect:
• $150,000-250,000/year depending on experience
• PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Holidays
