Full time opportunity for a Sr. Desktop Engineer / Applications Packager . This role involves overseeing the design, maintenance, and management of the firm's desktop systems and remote access farm. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining desktop and remote access systems, managing application distribution, specifying and testing workstation equipment, developing client processes, and overseeing application upgrades.

*This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office in NYC, 2 days remote. Days and times are flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to designing, installing, and managing desktop and remote access systems.
• Package, test, and distribute new or upgraded applications and operating systems.
• Configure, test, and recommend hardware for workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
• Optimize desktop and laptop performance for end users.
• Provide support and training for department staff.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for hardware and software enhancements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise desktop as an application packager.
• Strong understanding and experience in packaging applications.
• Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp technology preferred
• Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft operating systems.
• Knowledge of SCCM, Altiris, and/or other enterprise software distribution/management systems.
