Sr. DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust DevOps strategy aligned with the client's Digital Product strategy and transformation objectives.
Oversee the design, provisioning, and management of cloud infrastructure, containers, and other technologies needed for application deployment and scaling.
Lead efforts to automate manual tasks and streamline operations
Lead efforts to monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, latency issues, and other performance-related challenges.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure that reliability considerations are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Implement post-incident reviews and drive improvements based on lessons learned.
Drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
Work with development teams to integrate automated testing and code review processes to ensure code quality and reliability.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of DevOps practices, driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and feedback loops.
Collaborate with security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps and SRE processes, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
Implement security measures such as access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Define and implement incident response processes, including escalation paths, communication plans, and post-incident analysis.
Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing the impact on u and business operations.

Salary ranges from $130-150K dependent on skillset.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in a role within DevOps, Software Development, or IT operations
3+ years of prior experience serving as a Sr. DevOps Engineer
Automaton experience w/ any scripting language
Proficiency in developing automation to simplify end-to-end processes and remove manual workflows
Understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies with hands on experience in implementing DevOps tools and technologies
5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, AZURE) and containerization technologies
Bachelor's degree
