Position Summary

Provides high-quality support to C-level executives and internal corporate communications departments to bolster companies` corporate strategy and ensure the success of the IR programs. On assigned accounts, drives client account strategy and manages program execution, oversees quality control of analyst and senior analyst deliverables, develops and maintains independent relationships with clients and supports Stern IR`s growth and broader business efforts.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:
  • Support account leads in executing on client deliverables; can also execute on many client deliverables independently (may take responsibility for leading at least one client - "de facto" leading from within an account team, and with oversight from a Managing Director)
  • Develop and support the implementation of customized IR strategy and oversee its successful execution while maintaining high standards of quality control
  • Provides enhanced daily logistical and strategic IR support to clients and account leads; engaging in active participation in client meetings
  • Highly proactive and responsive support of Sr. Directors and Managing Directors as assigned
  • Drafts and reviews technical corporate communications materials; QC materials and communications going to the client; deliver with a sophisticated understanding of messaging and positioning on how to implement
  • Oversee project management on at least two accounts while supporting additional accounts
  • Mentors and trains assigned junior staff (focus on Sr. Analysts)
    • Strategize with account leads to identify areas of growth and development for Analysts and Sr. Analysts, serving in an official mentorship role and supporting SternIR training
    • Manages junior staff within client accounts
  • Conducts and reviews sophisticated research projects and targeting analyses to create client-ready materials and findings; apply industry knowledge to deliverables
  • Manages and oversees the planning and execution of roadshows, meetings and other investor events, with support
  • Regularly assists and manages (when assigned) relationships with relevant contacts on Wall Street
  • Event planning and on-site support, including occasional travel
  • Manages/supports various initiatives at Stern IR (networking, company newsletter, etc)


Qualifications:

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 4 years relevant work experience gained in a finance, healthcare, communications, or consulting company strategy; ideally this candidate would have familiarity with financial industry and biotech industry, along with key concepts, strategies and participants
  • Strong writing and editing skills; firm grasp of industry lingo and general communications practices of public biotech companies including financial reporting processes
  • Ability to communicate and present materials and concepts in a clear, effective, and persuasive manner
  • Ability to independently manage assigned projects under the supervision of account leads, collaborating up and down across accounts
  • Ability to conduct and review comprehensive and targeted research and analysis and apply industry knowledge
  • Capable with technology and able to quickly learn and leverage various technology platforms and databases
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Proactive idea generator and critical thinker
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple workstreams at a fast pace, with acute attention to detail, completeness and accuracy

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
