The Sr. Director of Retail IT Build and Run will enable and deliver a large-scale technology modernization and technology unification transformation across the company and for its franchisee brands and operations. This role will oversee 2 teams. The build team responsible for all technology build outs that touches the restaurant such as payment devices, POS, KDS, Kiosk, and drive thru and will have a Sr. Manager overseeing about 24 resources. The Run team is responsible for customer and franchise care to include the contact center, AI/ML enabled analytics self serve capabilities. The run team consists of 6 full time employees and 50 contractors.

Additional responsibilities include:

* Create and implement the organization's vision for modern franchisee experience and in-store technology stack.

* Work closely with relevant stakeholders to understand business direction and develop overall strategic vision for the portfolio's operational readiness solutions. Ensure investment in Customer Care and technology align with the strategic vision and business priorities.

* Work across technology team to manage dependencies and ensure compatibility across digital channels, in-store tech, security, enterprise IT systems and development roadmap.

* Oversee development/enablement and operations of unified Retail(stores) systems & solutions (e.g., Payment devices, POS, KDS, Kiosk, Drive-Thru), Customer & Franchise Care (contact center, AI/ML enabled analytics self-serve capabilities) and Global Channels & International technology (CPG distribution, channel partners and global retail technology):

* Work with digital & marketing technology teams to define required omni channel customer experiences, integrations for in-store and digital consumer interfaces and recommend the optimal approach to ensure seamless consumer and operator experience.

* Collaborate with Brand executives to develop requirements to support brands' strategic goals and activation plans.

* Overall accountable for Retail technology support services to 6600 global locations 24X7.

* Oversee vendor selection and management: select and/or manage technology related vendors (e.g., POS, KDS, Kiosk, Drive-Thru, etc.)

* Drive departmental & program financial management discipline and rigor.

* Build and grow a best-in-class organization:

* Recruit, coach and grow a team that is empowered, consistently over performing and delivering on business objectives.

* Manage program & technology leaders, provide mentorship and guidance to the full technology organization. Cultivates a bench of leadership and talent to deliver results and support future growth

$205,000 to $225,000 base with a 15% bonus

Required Skills & Experience

Sr. Director or Director technology in restaurant IT or QSR space

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous Director/Sr. Director level technology executive in the restaurant or QSR space
- Has successfully completed an enterprise-wide transformation impacting IT consumer experience, store technology and customer/franchise care.
- Previous experience leading IT teams responsible for managing POS, restaurant technology: KDS (kitchen display systems), drive thru menu display, and the integrations with loyalty, marketing, etc
