Overview

We are looking for a highly strategic sales leader to join our team as a Service Line Sales Manager. You will lead, build and manage an established team of Service Line Specialists (SLSs) focused on selling our our Software and Platform Engineering Services which coveres Digital Experience, Software Product Engineering, Enterprise Application Modernization and Application Development and Maintenance Services along with Quality Assurance Services.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop geography, vertical, and account sales plans to ensure sales and revenue goals achieved

Forge relationships with VP/CXO decision makers across IT and business teams

Map client organization, build outstanding relationships with new business units, and build sales strategies for developing new business opportunities

Build and lead a team of Service Line Specialists to execute the sales plans

Ensure that each sales team is consistently applying the Cognizant Way to Sell (CWTS) and Client Value Framework (CVF) to shape, qualify, propose, and close sales opportunities

Ensure that all sales opportunities support Cognizant's strategic business objectives, and are accurately recorded and maintained to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts

Manage and resolve any internal issues or escalation requests of the pursuit teams or sales Managers to increase sales productivity
