Job description:

In your new role you will:
  • Evaluates and designs electrical systems and distribution for our semiconductor site
  • Works with local utility on electrical issues, rate changes, green power, grid improvements and maintenance
  • Monitors the site's electrical distribution for capacity, weaknesses, power factor, breaker coordination's, load distribution, and other issues
  • Manages the site Fire Alarm system and code requirements
  • Manages electrical projects and also other Facilities projects as needed
  • Works with Fab tool engineers and Facilities electricians to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues /problems
  • Works with Electrical Contractors to maintain the sites transmission level substation, distribution switchgear, transformers, breaker, and electrical monitoring
    Monitors and tracks our site electrical costs
  • Defines Energy savings for site


Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Semiconductor Facilities Electrical Engineering experience a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in plant electrical distribution design and maintenance
    AutoCAD
    and Electrical Engineering program experience a plus
  • BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Design for Semiconductor Fab tool installs and Facilities equipment changes
    Responsible for the technical side or engineering side of the sites electrical maintenance program
  • Evaluates the site electrical distribution for electrical issues-breaker coordination, ground faults, phasing, load capability, power factor and other electrical needs
  • Works well in a team environment and with site customers
  • A self-starter
