The Global Communications & Community Impact (GCCI) organization is seeking a senior-level Executive Assistant to provide single-threaded support to a Vice President in our Global Corporate Communications group. This is a great opportunity to join a high functioning team with plenty of new challenges & responsibilities for you to grow and further your professional career.

From Day One, this role will focus on keeping the organization's leader and team organized, informed, and on task. High-level calendar management and scheduling will require attention to detail as well as superb time management and organizational skills. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, have the ability to manage last-minute escalations, and effectively partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization to get things done.

You must understand business priorities and demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information. You should be resourceful, forward-thinking, and a creative problem solver.

Key job responsibilities

• Own complex calendar and scheduling

• Own domestic and international travel

• Manage expense report coordination and submission

• Develop, organize, execute, and assist with team activities (Staff meetings; All-Team meetings; Off-Sites; and team social events/recognition

• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

• Manage team space, including moves, new hire location assignments, and re-configurations

• Work closely with the leadership team and our business partners.

• Partner with other Assistants throughout the team and across the company

• Have fun at work and help others do the same.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of executive assistant experience

- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

- Experience with C-level executive calendar management

- Experience as an Executive Assistant

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing teams

- Experience working in a matrixed organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
