Insight Global is looking for a Senior Flavor Analytical Chemist to join a Fortune 200 company in the Richmond area. The Sr. Flavor Analytical Chemist will be responsible for developing methodologies to identify and quantify flavor compounds. They will identify new flavor analysis methods and apply analytical instrumentation to further understanding of flavor chemical-sensory experience, perform data analysis for multiple projects, and research analytical methods to monitor flavor encapsulation and release. The position will utilized GC/MS, LC/MS, GC/Olfactometry instruments for sampling.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in food, flavor, organic chemisty, analytical chemistry
- Masters degree or PhD
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in isolation of flavor compounds from complex matrices
- Broad knowledge in flavor
- Experience with GC/MS, LC/MS, GC/Olfactometry instruments
