Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Sr. Full stack Engineer with at least 10+ years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Responsibilities :

• Building and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across our team and technology stack.
• Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
• Partner closely with architecture teams and drive solutions
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.
• Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.
• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required.
• Comply with OCM software engineering practices, standards, and principles.
• Implement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy, leveraging strategic tools/technologies, patterns, and processes
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, automation of common tasks, processes/system capabilities for continuous improvement as applicable
• Partner with teams to build robust, efficient, effective solutions.
• Identify and resolve security and compliance findings.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline.
• 5+ years of Angular 8/9
• Typescript. PostgreSQL,
• API Development,
• Cloud Azure,
• Jasmine, Karma,
• GraphQL, and Java
