The purpose of this role is to program, test, and support application development for the customers Next Generation application, and other related applications. This team will be responsible for taking a heavily utilized desktop application to the web. Under general supervision, the position will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting web-based applications and related solutions. This developer will work with the team and related teams to deliver a best in class software solution. They will be expected to perform duties as outlined below.
Mix of application enhancement, maintenance, and production support responsibilities
Responsible for designing, programming, testing and maintenance of multiple software systems
Work with user community to define and manage application enhancements
Reference and understand application and system documentation to support design, testing or programming efforts with some assistance from more experienced team member
Use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems
Participate in application design sessions
Develop and maintain documentation as necessary
Work as a member of a larger team of individuals with more advanced skills
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Be willing and excited to learn new technologies and expand knowledge base into new areas.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7+(senior) years software development experience using Visual Studio and the .NET Framework (C#, Microservices, .Net Core, RESTful Web API, Web Applications)
Experience with Azure DevOps
Experience with React/Redux and JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Cloud Environments (Azure preferred)
Strong understanding of database design concepts, stored procedures, and data manipulation in MS SQL Server
Strong understanding of object-oriented design concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Strong testing skills
Familiar with all aspects of software application SLC
Able to gather, document and execute detailed specifications from high-level requirements
Experience designing and developing systems using a multi-tier architecture
Candidate should be able to work independently or as a member of a larger team of individuals with varying skills
Will need to work during our standard business hours, in the central U.S. time zone. This position is preferred to be on-site in Plymouth at least 3 days a week, but varying hybrid and remote options are available for the right candidate (remote or hybrid candidates would need to meet in person in Plymouth for various meetings, and events throughout the year).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience developing in Agile, specifically Scaled Agile methodologies
Experience developing in Azure Cloud environments
Familiarity using 3rd party .Net libraries (via NuGet, for example)
Familiarity with HVAC or other manufacturing/engineering industries
