As an Sr. Human Vision Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Use vision science fundamentals to derive actionable product requirements and features

• Develop vison models and simulations to guide hardware, software and system design

• Design and execute optical human factor studies

• Apply vision science to optimize user experience of emerging technologies and products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BS degree in Vision Science, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field

- Experience with visual perception experiment design, execution, and data analysis

- Experience with visual acuity measurements, autorefractors, lensometers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Doctoral degree in Vision Science, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field

- 2+ years experience

- Experience in consumer electronics hardware development

- Strong modeling and data analysis skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market.
