Sr Java Developer

A large financial services company is looking to hire a Java developer immediately! Preferred locations for this position are Denver, CO or Dallas, TX with Mon/Wed/Thursday hybrid onsite schedule. The team is looking for a Strong Java developer proficient in MongoDB or SQL databases. This candidate will be working on greenfield development for a communication platform built in Java on a Spring Boot platform with a MongoDB database utilizing PCF - pivotal cloud foundry. Some scripting experience is also required. This position is open as a 6-month contract with possibilities for both extension and conversion to an FTE (sponsorship optional for FTE conversion). Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as a Java Developer (Multithreading/Locking, Scaling/Performance, Memory/Object Reuse, IOC Design, Simple/Clean API/Encapsulation)

Experience developing within Mongo DB, RabbitMQ, or SQL Databases

Strong cloud experience (PCF, AWS, Azure)

Previous shell scripting in Linux or Unix required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working on a CMS -- Communication Management System

Experience with CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins/Bamboo etc. and Source code repositories like Git, Bitbucket etc

Pay Rate: $55-70

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
