Sr. Logistics & Fleet Planner

As a Senior Logistics & Fleet Planner, you will be responsible for reducing finished goods on hand, managing our Fleet of PIT, trailers and Semis and keeping them in working order and minimums down time at GFNY manufacturing and warehouse. This team member will be required to manage our Fleet at two sites, manage forklift repair techs, and Finished Good days on hand targets.


Responsibilities

• Reduce days on hand of Finished Goods by working closely with Fulfillment Planners and Logistics to create a balance approach across a 24-7 manufacturing space
• Schedule and maintain periodic maintenance and inspection for all Semis, trailers, and PIT operating
• For all rented fleet, work with the vendor to make sure repairs are done in a timely manner
• Minimize down time for the fleet
• Manage a team of forklift repair technician. Create, Standardized work Instruction, create Pre task plans so that safety is always the priority

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Math, or Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Fulfillment Planning
• Strong understanding of Logistics and truckload utilization
• Experience negotiating and holding vendors accountable
• General mechanical knowledge of PIT, semis, and trailers
• Sound understanding of SQL, MySql, and Excel
• Experience managing employees and holding them accountable

Expected Compensation


• Associate Maintenance Planner - $64,600 - $96,900/annual salary
• Maintenance Planner - $74,800 - $112,200/annual salary
• Sr Maintenance Planner - $98,600 - $147,900/annual salary
• Staff Maintenance Planner - $119,000 - $178,500/annual salary
• Sr Staff Maintenance Planner - $136,000 - $204,000/annual salary
• Principal Maintenance Planner - $146,200 - $219,300/annual salary
, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
