Job description:

In your new role you will:
  • Use oscilloscope, digital voltmeters and test box to calibrate systems and ensure outputs are at predetermined levels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair peripheral equipment such as Sort testers probers and ovens Associate's with test systems
  • Work with cognizant engineers in defining area of systems malfunctions.
  • Deal with manufacturing representatives on diagnosing specific systems problems and requisitioning parts.
  • Train and assist lower level technicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical or software troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.
  • Adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by test/manufacturing engineers
  • Must be able to work night shift.


Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Associate's degree in electronics technology or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • A minimum of two years of directly related experience and an extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repairs of several different test systems.
  • 1-3 years experience
