Employs learned techniques and applies them for the purpose of producing a permanent radiographic image of breast and related anatomy. Assists radiologist during invasive and non-invasive procedures in the Mammography Section. Provides patient services by operating x-ray equipment, develops film, prepares room, and supplies. Check call back/follow up records. Follows all required MQSA standards when performing and documenting quality control. Conducts in-services and takes measures in order to maintain smooth department operations in the Mammography Section. Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 1 year from date of hire.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)

Experience
2 Years experience in Mammography (Required)
2 Years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position (Required)

License/Certifications
ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst (Required)
RT(R)(M) - Reg Technologist (R) (M) (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
