Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will lead regional brand marketing efforts designed to win new consumers to the Red Bull franchise, increase product consumption of current consumers and strengthen brand love. Sr. BMMs embody our commitment to giving a local face to the global brand by developing beverage marketing plans informed by insights and coaching their teams of Brand Marketing Managers (BMMs) towards outstanding execution.

  • CONSUMER INSIGHTS


    Be the eyes, ears, and voice of the consumer, leveraging your understanding of regional insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence marketing initiatives

    Leverage local sales data, consumption statistics and consumer insights to identify volume driving product opportunities


  • PRODUCT MARKETING


    Build & lead a local '360' marketing plan that increases brand awareness & product consumption through occasions (work, study, fitness, gaming) and choice

    Protect brand equity by ensuring all local brand/beverage efforts are executed in line with national/global strategy and guidelines

    Support the engagement of current and next generation consumers through sampling & collegiate marketing programs by coaching & developing BMMs

    Lead collaboration with regional Sports, Culture, and Communications teams to optimize outcome of brand initiatives

    Develop & communicate appropriate, relevant, and measurable Brand Marketing objectives for the region


  • WIRING OF RETAIL


    Leverage national programming to drive sales in regional retail accounts and create custom retail programming when necessary Frequently collaborate with regional Sales team leads to drive consumer engagement at retail

    Lead retail activation strategy for the region, acting on insights garnered from disparate sources


  • LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT


    Closely manage Brand Marketing budgets for the region while coaching BMMs and ensuring efficient & responsible Consumer Collecting spends

    Live the Brand Marketing standards (sense of urgency, innovation, calculated risk-taking, and integrity) and lead by example


  • ADVERTISING


    Help develop local advertising plans and implement them, ensuring Global and US standards and best practices are met

    Work with the Santa Monica Advertising team and RBNA Media and Creative agencies and follow established processes to achieve impactful campaigns on time and on budget




EXPERIENCE


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 7+ years of brand marketing experience
  • Strong experience in consumer marketing and retail activation, preferably in a CPG environment
  • An understanding and working knowledge of digital and social media
  • Experience curating and implementing strategies in local markets
  • Use insights and partner with accounts to build local programs that grow consumption
  • Experience managing successful teams and growing talent
  • Experience managing budgets and working with traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
  • Travel 20-30%
