Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Textron Cybersecurity Attack Surface Management Team for the enterprise. We are looking for a talented candidate that can effectively manage proactive security efforts and Textron's incident response activities.

As a successful candidate you will be able to use your leadership skills and technical background to ensure effective & efficient management and coordinating activities for all Textron enterprise cybersecurity attack surface management. Duties include managing the following: resolving SOC escalation, detection engineering, threat intelligence analysis, pen testing, incident response and briefs to leadership. You will lead a team of cyber analysts and external suppliers while coordinating with business leaders to develop and deliver solutions that provide the backbone for the Textron enterprise. The selected candidate will have strong analytical skills, be self-starting, and have a desire to learn new technology at a rapid pace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders in Infrastructure and Security across the Textron Enterprise to identify requirements and deliver best practices in cyber security
  • Lead a high performing team with superior technical depth and outstanding customer relationship skills, ensuring talent development and hiring new talent
  • Ensure effective documentation is maintained for cyber security systems and schedules
  • Strong emphasis on service delivery and end user customer satisfaction
  • Engage with internal customer and vendors to ensure services are meeting demands.
  • Conduct thorough threat assessments to identify potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze threat intelligence data from various sources to determine potential impact on the organization.
  • Develop and maintain threat models and risk assessments.
  • Lead the response to cyber security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incident investigations.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with cyber threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on threat assessments, incidents, and mitigation efforts.


Benefits

Education/Experience:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • 8- 10 years experience in IT service delivery operations
  • Demonstrated competency in:
    • Execution of large projects
    • Developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
    • Understanding of outsourced services delivery model; experience working in outsourced environment a strong plus
    • Strong project management skills
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Ability to explain complicated technical initiatives to non-technical stakeholders

    • Effectively manage direct reports
    • Close working relationships with internal Service Delivery managers and team members worldwide
    • Collaborating with the IT Risk Management teams at the business unit and at the enterprise level

    • Close working relationship with Service Providers
    • Interacts with other technology partner personnel as appropriate


Skills/Competencies:

  • Understanding of network technologies and operations and interrelationships with other IT systems
  • Ability to create technology roadmaps outlining strategy one to three years in advance
  • Experience in creating and defining new operations models/procedures and explaining complex problems or situations
  • Ability to perform use-case analyses as appropriate
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the team's concern for users
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment is required
