Overview

Accountable for managing high potential leadership activities and programs. Manages a team that creates, delivers performance and leadership support tools and activities to increase and strengthen the leadership pipeline.



Responsibilities

  • Manages, develops, and directs staff involved in the execution of high potential development activities to increase leadership pipeline effectiveness.
  • Manages the Executive and Senior Management developmental programs to ensure acceleration of employees that have been identified with Executive potential to prepare them for advancement.
  • Accountable for the creation, execution, and measurement of Individual Development Plans for identified high potential management employees across all business units.
  • Manages talent calibration activities, bench planning, talent review format, and communication plan for senior managers across business units in preparation for enterprise-wide talent reviews.
  • Conducts needs assessments and provides analysis on leadership needs across all business units to identify enterprise-wide competency gaps and execute activities to close those gaps.
  • Provides input on the talent management system to ensure successful integration with other HR/OD systems and recommends upgrades based on organizational requirements.
  • Partners with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to identify and create leadership career ladders for all business units to facilitate functional or cross-functional people moves.
  • Facilitates organizational effectiveness activities based on diagnosis criterion that improve business performance and processes, organizational systems, and leadership across business units.
  • Accountable to deliver metrics that evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development activities.
  • Develops short and long-term action plans to meet the business leadership requirements.
  • Development and monitoring of department expense budgets.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • 10+ years of experience in Leadership or organizational development or management training.
  • 7 years of experience in Management.




Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $92,000 - $145,000 annually. Please remember that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
