Your role:

Analytics

Integrates and interprets complex market, healthcare environment, and financial metrics (e.g. Net Present Value (NPV), Risk Adjusted Net Present Value (eNPV), Revenue, GP, Share, Budget Spend, P&L Implications) to develop and apply strategic insights and advance fact-based decision making. Drives the execution of an analytics-focused strategy that ensures the use of analytical best practices and knowledge of partnership offering (i.e., complete medical or specialty solution) to forecast market evolution, align segmentation strategies, uncover new opportunities, and enhance competitive advantages.

Customer/Stakeholder Insights

Leverages a deep understanding and first-hand knowledge of stakeholders, regional differences by geography, and the clinical and non-clinical decision-making and buying process and/or market research to identify unmet needs, stakeholder insights and market trends. Utilizes stakeholder insights to influence internal and external stakeholders to overcome resistance, create opportunities and drive results.

Brand strategy

Utilizes a deep understanding of and proactively responds to shifts in the market and healthcare environment to develop and execute strategies and plans, and proactively anticipates trends that impact company and related procedures and specialties. Leverages a consistent framework to effectively build business objective, marketing objective, source of volume, value proposition, and metrics into well differentiated strategies and exceptional execution plans that are executed with cross-functional involvement.

Pricing strategy

Uses in-depth knowledge of pricing, pricing frameworks, contracting, and the dynamics of the healthcare environment to create strategies that transfer value into profitability. Translates market dynamics into pricing and contracting decisions for new and existing products that create value, consider the realities of the buying process, comply with standards and regulations, and meet long-term stakeholder needs.

Message delivery and deployment

Challenges others to develop differentiated value propositions, pursue innovative marketing approaches (e.g., digital media) in alignment with traditional tactics, and measure the effectiveness of messaging to improve business results. Drives the adoption and execution of innovative messaging tactics (e.g., digital and emerging media) through all channels to deliver targeted communications to internal and external stakeholders that convey differentiated value propositions.

Launch excellence

Drives execution by leveraging and integrating cross functional partner and COE support for launch, post-launch dashboards and measurement tools to deliver commercial offerings in the New Product Development/Cadence process or Launch Excellence process. Independently prioritizes, plans, manages, and tracks launch processes that consistently hit launch goals in an efficient and timely manner.

You are responsible for meeting or exceeding the business plan for your product lines and for driving activities that support the efforts of the commercial and regional marketing organizations in countries, with global focus.

In this role, you will serve as a market representative ensuring both successful commercialization of new products and providing expert advice to the Hematology franchise management in support of product enhancement plans and portfolio roadmap decisions. You will actively pulse the industry to understand the competitive environment, anticipate market trends and demands, and be capable of developing and presenting business proposals for product / portfolio strategic initiatives.

You should be capable of actively participating in and influencing cross functional teams governing our hematology product and portfolio strategy, product health, and new product development initiatives. Relationship development with customers and country sales and marketing organizations is essential to clearly understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements and programs. Active engagement, support of, and strategizing with country marketing is critical to the success of this role.

Your expertise:

  • Comprehensive and authoritative (broad and deep) expertise and experience in the IVD market.
  • Demonstrated success in the launch and commercialization of IVD products.
  • Leadership and the ability to influence absent authority, motivate, and drive accountability to achieve results.
  • BA/BS degree and 10+ years of relevant experience

The pay range for this position is $187,000 - $255,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (20%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
