Summary

The Senior Marketing Specialist, Personalization and Loyalty is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day and owned channel campaign activities for email, SMS, push channels, in app and e-commerce channels. Define and continually refine key performance metrics to measure overall effectiveness building your own dashboard and reporting and driving relevant insights. The Senior Specialist works closely with other marketing team members, CRM, IT, Promotions, Analytics, Customer Care and external vendors/agencies and is responsible for communicating and collaborating in a positive and professional manner with all parties.

What You'll Do

Essential Functions
• Lead the strategy, development, and execution of owned digital marketing channels (email, push, SMS, in-app messages, e-commerce) to optimize acquisition, engagement retention, and promotional strategies
• Launch transactional SMS for Lidl to enable quick signup for new members and e-receipts
• Launch marketing SMS for Lidl as another form of customer communication for segmentation and promotional purpose
• Launch in-app messages for Lidl as another form of customer communication or segmentation and promotional purposes
• Define and develop reporting and analysis for SMS and in app marketing channels
• Analyze customer data, defining actionable segments and creating targeted lifetime and tracking incremental value of program members
• Oversee the development, execution and analysis of loyalty campaigns, through email, SMS, push, app and onsite efforts
• Work with creative teams to create marketing materials
• Develop and execute tests to optimize email engagement and enhance data collection
• Report on data and analytics to constantly improve and optimize emails
• Manage day-to-day e-commerce
• Manage and optimize dynamic e-commerce product feeds
• Revamp and take Lidl's weekly newsletter to the next level through CDP enabled elements, creating a dynamic and personalized customer experience to increase engagement and sales
• Utilize Adobe Real-Time CDP for audience building and segmentation across marketing channels
• A strong understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem and a good grasp of what role each piece of technology plays - Salesforce, HTML/CSS and SQL coding
• Use data-backed measurement and analysis to constantly test, refine and scale campaigns.
• Manages projects, work processes, systems, and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow
• Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
• Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvement
• Support in national and international projects, producing business requirements, performing business system tests and technical improvements
• Monitor online activities and assist in digital strategy implementation
• Analyze competitors' digital endeavors to stay competitive in the digital landscape

What You'll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Knowledge of email conversion metrics trends, benchmarks and digital marketing best practices
• Extensive experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ability to build emails, push, SMS in SFMC and code in AmpScript
• Familiar with Adobe CDP
• Familiar with E-commerce and home delivery platforms
• Experience in a CMS
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Prior experience in CPG, retail, grocery or related B2C industry
• Google Analytics (GA4)
• Basic HTML knowledge
• JIRA or other project management tools
• Basic SQL ability
• Familiar with SEO, optimizations and strategies

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
