Key job responsibilities

* Drive the creation, review, implementation, and operations and ongoing improvement of the Fraud, Piracy, and Abuse function's capabilities.

* Lead a team of Fraud and Abuse and content security specialists, providing coaching and setting the overall vision of the program.

* Create and maintain fraud investigations and operations playbooks and processes, identify opportunities to streamline processes and operationalize the enhancements

* Perform analysis and investigations; exercising sound judgment, analytical skills, and emotional intelligence, including in time-sensitive or while in pressure situations

* lead and participating in projects and program management; preparing detailed metrics, documentation, and reporting; working independently or as part of internal/external global cross-functional teams

* Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by prioritizing pragmatic, layered, defense initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future Fraud, Piracy, and Abuse technologies.

* Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all counterparts in Amazon and industry partners in the fight against Piracy, Fraud, and Abuse.

* Operate effectively in fast-paced consumer facing product development environments.

* Drive Fraud, Piracy, and Abuse efforts to enable Prime Video to keep content secure and identify gaps for continuous improvement and action.

* Experience with cross-organizational collaboration and negotiation

A day in the life

You will work with product and engineering teams from initiation to deployment and will be responsible for content security throughout the development lifecycle, interfacing with key stakeholders and driving programs to secure the customer experience. This includes finding new ways to streamline and scale Fraud, Piracy, and Abuse initiatives across Prime Video.

About the team

This position will be part of the Piracy, Fraud, and Abuse team within the Amazon Prime Video READI (Resilience, Availability & Demand Insights) organization. We work closely with other functions within Prime Video Security and internal/external partners such as Amazon Studios, Amazon Legal, and other internal teams, to prevent, detect, contain, investigate, manage incidents, and improve controls involving piracy, fraud, and abusive behavior involving digital video content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related discipline, or 10+ years' equivalent technology experience

* 10+ years of IT security audit, compliance and/or relevant regulatory experience.

* 10+ years of project management experience and demonstrated knowledge of program management best practices

* 10+ years of executive communication. Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business

* Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a proven track record of delivery following Project Management principles

* 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

* Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating program goal delivery

* Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

* Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

* Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive large businesses and reporting to senior leadership

* Experience managing projects across multiple engineering teams, across many stakeholders, building sustainable processes and coordinating go-to-market releases.

* Have extensive experience of process improvement, team building, and strategic development

* Experience in generating automated metrics to measure IT security effectiveness and consistency

* Possess an understanding of core information security principles and associated risk management principles

* An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive innovation independently

* Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

* Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

* Familiarity with web services, multi-tiered systems, complex architectures, workflow modeling and enterprise application integration

* Security-related certifications (i.e. CISSP, CISA)

* Have extensive experience with of process improvement, team building, and strategic development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $300,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
