  • Develop, create, modify computer applications software, and analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
  • Duties to include: design and develop solutions that meet enterprise standards within development and operational guardrails;
  • develop secure and high performance code according to industry and enterprise coding standards and practices; source code, environment, deployment, and release management; test, quality assurance, and defect fixes;
  • assign and manage work for a globally distributed engineering team;
  • adhere to stakeholders requirements, timelines, and budgeting requirements; sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis, and review;
  • assist in troubleshooting production issues, triage production incidents and identify the root causes, including conducting retrospectives for continuous improvement;
  • regularly monitor and review the quality standards, resolve engineering roadblocks, enable teams to achieve common quality goals, and improve the overall quality of the product; engage and collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program;
  • share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business, managers, and technical resources in clear, concise language that is appropriate to the target audience;
  • participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate; stay abreast of leading edge technologies in the industry; and conduct proof of concepts to evaluate the feasibility of implementing new tools, technology, and requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Interacting and working across the team with Architects, QA, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and design/develop end to end solution.

• Develop quality conceptual designs and metric standards.

• Experience in all phases of SDLC and STLC

• Hands on development using .Net technology.

• Experience in Design and Developing test automation frameworks.

• Use Agile (SCRUM) and Hands-on with CA Agile Central (Rally) or other Agile tools to manage and track development activities.

• Writing technical design, implementation, and documentation

• Source code, environment, deployment, and release management, troubleshooting and triaging.

• Practice agile solution delivery & influence teams towards engineering best practices such as DevOps / CICD / Everything as a code

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (test, build, deployment, and monitoring automation)

• Solve business problem by applying suitable technologies (cost efficient, high performance, resilient and scalable)

• Learn new technologies quickly and implement the same within short time

• Partner closely with global teams to implement the quality design and maintain standards.

• Testing, quality assurance and defect fixes

• Assign and manage work for a globally distributed engineering team of up to team members.

• Adhere to stakeholders' requirements, timelines, and budgeting requirements.

• Engage and collaborate with other teams across the portfolio to assure the success of the overall program.

• Regularly monitor and review usage of the application, problem tickets, patterns to help drive teams to address root cause issues and improve the overall quality of the product

• Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business, managers, and technical resources in clear, concise language that is appropriate to the target audience.

• Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate.

• Stay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industry.

• Take an active role in mentoring, team performance management process by completing goal setting, interim review, and year-end review on a timely basis and soliciting ongoing feedback.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or a Bachelor's degree with significant work experience in technology Industry
