Piper Companies is currently searching for a Sr Network Specialist to work on-site in San Diego, CA for a leader in providing premier support to defense and civilian government agencies across the United States. The Sr Network Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the High-Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services.

Responsibilities for the Sr Network Specialist include :
• Provide technical and professional support for the operation of the HPCMP Office in planning and executing its mission.
• Responsibilities include systems engineering, quality assurance, software analysis, development of integrated IT solutions, and testing.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design software or customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications for the Sr Network Specialist i nclude :
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4 + years of technical experience
• Proficiency in IPv6, Routing, Switches, Internet Protocols
• Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Office software suites
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Compensation for the Sr Network Specialist include :
• $110,000 - $130,000 Base Salary
• Full Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick time, 401K and much more

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance , may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
