As a Senior SAP Payroll Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for leveraging your expertise in SAP payroll to analyze, design, and help implement business solutions to meet the evolving needs of our US and Canadian payrolls. This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of payroll processes in both countries, coupled with superb analytical skills and techno-functional knowledge of ECP / SAP payroll. They will be responsible for not only carrying out reports and helping ensure accurate weekly payroll but also, responsiblefor identifying areas of improvement in the payroll process; then creating, testing, and documenting the new procedures for the payroll team. After rolling it out to the team this individual will be responsible for ensuring the procedures are followed.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Provide real-time support to payroll operations team to troubleshoot SAP Payroll production issues.
2. Provide ongoing guidance, training and support to the Payroll team on SAP payroll systems and processes.
3. Analyze payroll processes to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains and automation.
4. Lead projects related to payroll system changes, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
5. Develop and maintain documentation, including process workflows, business requirements, functional
specifications, test plans, and training materials.
6. Stay abreast of Payroll and SAPregulatory and system changes, proactively addressing impacts as well as
recommending enhancements and improvements.
7. Lead the analysis and design of SAP payroll solutions to support the needs of our US and Canadian
operations.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HRIS, Benefits and Finance, to gather requirements, identify
gaps, and help develop solutions
9. Provide reports as needed to support requests from internal stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP payroll / ECP.
Subject Matter Expert in SAP Payroll / ECP on a technical and functional level.
Experience w/ the following on a daily basis:
Wage Type Reporter, US Reconciliation, US Tax Reporter, Canada Reconciliation Report
T-Codes
Infotypes
Payroll Control Record
RT
CRT/TCRT
4+ years of hands on experience inside of SAP SuccessFactors
Proven ability to independently lead initiatives in an organized manner
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, and best practices in the US and Canada.
Experience leading payroll initiatives, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Advanced Excel skillsets required
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot payroll issues effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
