We are looking for a Sr. PM-T to deliver the complex, runtime capabilities of our next generation Store architecture for both mobile and web CX rendering. In this role, you will directly define the product and shape the technology together with our engineering team. You will navigate through complex tradeoffs between multiple stakeholders across organizations, and ensure the team progress towards the architectural vision while delivering value to customers along the way. You will deep dive into the technical approach teams use to meet the product vision and ensure it avoids one-way doors. A successful candidate is expected to be a strategic leader that is able to thrive in ambiguity while having the curiosity to deep dive to solve hard, complex, technical problems. They will possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively align leaders across the Store on our status and strategy. We're looking for someone who is passionate to innovate, technically curious, and cares about enabling the best quality customer and developer experiences.

Key job responsibilities

- Define the product requirements to enable our builders to utilize the new technology and architecture.

- Establish technical product requirements that shape how builders write code in our next generation architecture.

- Drive the technical disambiguation and delivery of complex architectural capabilities across multiple organizations.

- Deep dive into cross cutting architectural problems to identify and resolve potential risks that can impede delivery.

- Partner closely with engineering managers and Principal Engineers to build the next generation Store architecture.

- Partner closely with our partners/customers to enable them to adopt and build with the new technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
