About the Role:

We are looking for a Vendor Management professional to join our team to support a national portfolio client with over 1500 locations. The individual chosen for this role will provide overall strategy and management of our network of third-party vendors.

What You'll Do:

Proven track record and background with 10+ years managing service providers / vendors for a large national footprint portfolio.

Proficient in negotiating service agreements with an emphasis on rate structures and KPI expectations in relation to current market and trade knowledge.

Evaluate current vendor management programs and identify and implement efficiencies.

Familiar and proficient in CMMS systems.

Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills to make sound business decisions impacting savings, efficiencies, and customer service.

Ability to collaborate and assist in Request for Proposal processes.

Ability to utilize data analysis tools to manage vendor KPIs and leverage in rate negotiations and volume.

Effective relationship management serving as point of contact for third parties and managing effective governance between Ferguson and assigned third parties.

Maintain awareness of external marketplace as it relates to suppliers and perform and assist in sourcing activities where appropriate.

Demonstrate exemplary work ethic, verbal / written communication and proactive decision making.

Ability to toggle between internal and external working partnerships.

Demonstrate a high degree of personal motivation, independent judgment, and persuasiveness.

What You'll Need:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement Manager position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
