The Builder Experience and Success team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager of Communications Quality Improvement to drive initiatives to drive the improvement of Selling Partner emails, web notifications, SMS, and mobile push notifications.

The Program Manager will partner with builders, marketers, product, and engineering teams to deep dive communication defects, propose programs and features to detect and resolve defects, and execute programs to improve the overall quality of email communications sent through our platform.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a passion for communications, a propensity to dive deep into technical solutions, and the ability to manage and execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be comfortable diving into data, distilling insights, and communicating to leadership teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Identify widespread defect issues, with a priority on blocking defects in critical emails. Manage cross-org, Builder campaigns to reduce defects across all communication types.

• Partner with other Amazon teams to root cause common blocking defects and track resolution. Produce content for associates and Builders to support self-service defect resolution.

• Liaise between partner teams and engineering to prioritize defect resolution and technical Builder support. Triage complex cases requiring coordination across both teams.

• Partner with engineering and product teams and to produce platform solutions to resolve and prevent issues at scale.

• Design and run experiments to improve communication quality and drive Seller engagement (e.g., open rate, click rate, CTA clicks). Recommend template improvements that drive engagement.

• Define and report on communication quality metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Experience with communication platforms and content management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
