The Seller Strategic Communications team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to improve Selling Partner experience by continually raising the bar for communications quality.

The Program Manager will partner with content creators, product, and technical teams to deep dive and eliminate communication defects, and propose future program and tech improvements to detect and resolve content defects at scale.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a passion for communications, a broad understanding of the various products and programs which support our Selling Partners, and the ability to manage and execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be comfortable diving into data, distilling insights, and holding internal teams accountable to communications quality standards.

Key job responsibilities

• Identify content defects with a particular focus on critical emails with the highest potential impact on SP experience. Manage cross-org campaigns to reduce defects across all communication types.

• Partner with other Amazon teams to root cause defects and track resolution. Drive mechanisms to enable self-service defect resolution with appropriate governance.

• Support escalation management, including andon cord mechanisms to drive accountability for poor communications, while anticipating and making tradeoffs in the Selling Partner experience which may result from turning off defective communications.

• Assist in content experiments to improve content quality and engagement (e.g., open rate, click rate, CTA clicks) across channels.

• Define and report on communication quality metrics.

About the team

The Selling Partner Communities organization (Communities) builds lasting connections with, and drives the success of our Selling Partners (SPs).

Our products, such as news and forums, are currently used by millions of Selling Partners worldwide to engage with Amazon and foster an active and inclusive community and information exchange among SPs. These products also provide valuable insights into Selling Partner sentiment and issues.

We are currently re-imagining how we enable our SPs to engage with other sellers, form Communities, and interact with Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience with communications platforms and content management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
