We're looking for a customer-obsessed and detail oriented individual to lead communications efforts for our most complex and high priority compliance outreach efforts.

As a Communications team, we develop and deploy communications to help selling partners understand and engage with policies and/or government regulations, so that they can take action and avoid unnecessary business disruptions. In turn, these policies and/or regulations help us to create a trusted shopping experience that protects customers, brands, selling partners, and Amazon from fraud, counterfeits, and abuse.

The ideal candidate has exemplary editorial and writing skills, a passion for process improvement, strong judgment skills, and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

This role is responsible for ensuring that, for our most complex or impactful compliance initiatives, selling partners receive clear, engaging, and timely communications in the channels and at the cadence that is most impactful at driving action.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Understanding compliance policies or regulations and translating those into an engaging communications and outreach experience. Components of this experience may include: setting messaging and tone, identifying communication data triggers, defining appropriate and technically feasible level of personalization, and ensuring UX consistency.

- Managing the communications development, review, and approvals processes with cross-functional stakeholders

- Managing projects to ensure delivery of any needed technical, reporting, or data requirements necessary to deploy communications

- Designing and implementing process improvements, frameworks, and mental models to ensure scale, efficiency, and quality control of communications development and deployment processes

- Leading change management exercises to drive adoption of new processes, frameworks, or mechanisms

- Identifying opportunities and building business case for technical innovations to drive quality and efficiency improvements in communications processes

- Defining and evolving measures of success and reporting

- Be the voice of the selling partner

- Develop and present updates to leaders and stakeholders

A day in the life

The nature of your day-to-day will evolve depending on where we are in the lifecycle of a project. You may spend your day focused on stakeholder management tasks (project management, change management tasks); on strategy-related tasks (such as reviewing customer insights and data, ideating around new experiments, and investigating new capabilities and opportunities to improve seller experience); on team building tasks (sharing information, offsites, team meetings); or on career and personal development (trainings and mentoring).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Experience with content or messaging development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

- 4+ years of team management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
