Position Summary: The Senior Project Controls Specialist is responsible for all financial aspects of multiple engineering, construction, and CQV projects from start to finish for our clients. Works closely with other Project Controls Engineers and Project Management team. Main responsibilities of this position include invoicing, ERP project set-up, financial forecasting, and analysis. Senior Project Controls Specialist will gain insight and exposure to other operational functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects, project financial forecasting and analyzing project data.
  • Reviews work completed by Administrator and Specialist Project Control staff.
  • Provides project controls related updates to other members of the team, project managers and operational leaders.
  • Completes monthly earned value reporting for Engineering, CM, and CQV projects.
  • Completes monthly cost reporting for Construction projects.
  • Helps manage Project Controls Specialists and Project Controls Administrators.

Education/Experience: Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Software Skills: Deltek, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project
