Project Scope and Brief:

• Provide test automation and quality assurance testing support (including manual testing) for a highly-productive agile development team.
• Identify gaps and create automated scripts that will be used to create test data and facilitate testing of complex scenarios
• Develop automated scripts for E2E scenarios

Responsibilities:

Using a risk-based approach, utilize QA Team standards and frameworks to:

• Design, document, develop, and execute manual test cases and automated testing scripts
• Collaborate closely across agile teams driving efficiency in the QA process.
• Engage with others to test applications and develop effective solutions for complex problems
  

Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience
  
  6+ years of hands-on test automation experience
  
• Possess excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience validating and verifying that software applications meet stakeholder requirements
• Experience in system automation, integration, functional regression, load and performance testing
• Experience in data extract and file comparisons
• Experience in automating E2E testing
• Working knowledge of C#, Python programming languages
• Working knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server, POSTGRES, S3)
• Experience testing geospatial/mapping systems
• Ability to work with test analysts to support FS&D SE QA Team quality initiatives
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
• Desirable, but not required:
  
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Familiar with qTest, MTM or similar test management tools
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright
• Experience in API testing
• Working knowledge of API testing techniques and familiarity with tools, such as Postman and JMeter
• Working knowledge of applications built with React, Redux, CSS, Javascript
