You Are:

You are a motivated R&D Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology. With a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Science and over 5 years of experience in Digital VLSI Design, Synthesis, Place & Route, and Advanced Node concepts, you have a deep understanding of Semiconductor Physics. Your expertise lies in Digital implementation engine issues, and you're adept at providing quick solutions through TCL/Perl prototypes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with R&D teams and Foundries to enhance EDA engines. Your proactive approach allows you to engage with early new node customers and support the deployment of the latest technologies.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • DTCO and Pathfinding on the next generation of nodes, delivering best-in-class PPA with Fusion Compiler.
  • Collaborating closely with the R&D and Foundries on the bleeding edge of technology, enhancing EDA engines.
  • Utilizing deep expertise in Synthesis, P&R, and Physical Design to understand Digital implementation engine issues and provide quick solutions.
  • Developing TCL/Perl prototypes to demonstrate that EDA engines can be extended to meet Foundry/customer needs.
  • Engaging with early new node customers to support the deployment of the latest technologies.
  • Continuously innovating and contributing to the advancement of Synopsys' technological capabilities.

What You'll Need:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital VLSI Design, Synthesis, Place & Route, and Advanced Node concepts.
  • Strong understanding of Semiconductor Physics.
  • Proficiency in TCL/Perl for developing quick prototypes.
  • Experience in working with R&D teams and Foundries.
