Primary Responsibilities:
Release Train Engineer :
  • Facilitate PI Planning, Program Increment execution, and other ART events.
  • Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and Agile teams.
  • Track progress, identify and remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective cross-team communication and collaboration.

Quality Assurance Engineer:
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, log, and track defects found during testing.
  • Monitor software performance and stability during testing.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance best practices.
  • Execute manual and automated tests.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in software testing tools and methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within a software development environment.
    • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, ideally as a Scrum Master or equivalent role. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Government IC environments.
  • Agile Expertise:
    • Successfully steered multiple software projects through complex Agile methodologies, including PI planning, program increments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Masterfully led cross-functional teams, fostered collaboration, and navigated roadblocks to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
    • Demonstrated excellent understanding of Agile principles and practices, optimizing processes for efficient delivery.
  • Quality Assurance Proficiency:
    • Built and executed comprehensive test plans, meticulously covering functionalities and exceeding quality standards.
    • Possess a keen eye for detail, efficiently identifying, logging, and tracking defects throughout the testing cycle.
    • Monitored software performance and stability with vigilance, ensuring a glitch-free user experience.
    • Championed best practices in QA, implemented process improvements, and stayed updated on evolving testing methodologies.

**Candidate must have a BS with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
