Sr. RN Manager, Clinical Operations, UPMC Your Care

UPMC Your Care is hiring a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations. This role is Monday - Friday daylight.

This is a unique leadership opportunity that will allow a nursing leader to develop a program from the ground up. This program is newly developed and launched and will require an individual who is willing to be flexible, creative, and can quickly pivot based on business needs. If you want to make a difference in patient care, this is a brand new and is function in a "start-up" culture. This individual will have the opportunity to support the launch and development of a brand-new program.

Leads, directs, and oversees the daily clinical and financial operations of the UPMC Your Care program. Provides overall management and oversight of clinical operations to ensure the delivery of quality care and services in the most timely and cost-effective manner, in compliance with all regulatory agencies and UPMC policy and procedures. You will require in-home visits alongside of direct reports as needed, up to 25-30% of the time while program launches.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on customer service and continually strive to perform the duties of job in a manner that results in optimal patient satisfaction. Identify, develop and participate in process improvement opportunities within the company that will enhance the quality of services we provide.
• Perform duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of UPMC towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
• Oversee administrative on call coverage for the company. Manage department operations within budget. Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet budgeted productivity and monitor staff productivity. Provide overall integration and direction to staff.
• Overall responsibility for the clinical operations of multidisciplinary Your Care team to facilitate patient care integration and coordination according to standards and the policies and procedures of UPMC.
• Attend compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
• Contributes to the development, implementation, scaling, and evaluation of the UPMC Your Care Program.
• Manages and tracks key operational aspects of the UPMC Your Care program and ensures adherence to programmatic culture and values, communication, and achievement of the program.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Five (5) years healthcare experience required. Three (3) years management experience required.
• Three (3) years home health experience preferred.
• Proven ability to facilitate change.

  NOTE: If BSN not completed at time of hire, must be enrolled in a program within one year of hire/transfer date and completed within three years of enrollment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Act 33
• Act 34
• OAPSA

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
