The impact you will have:

The Sr. Sales Leader is responsible for providing leadership and execution for the AWS Agency Division and its Sales Managers across North America. Strategic leadership, strong performance management, superior execution and mentoring of Sales Managers will be instrumental to the success of this leader. Requires inspirational leadership skills, the ability to develop managers, business and industry acumen, the ability to develop a strategy and programs to execute, operational and sales ability, customer passion, and high energy

What you’ll do:
  • Help to build and expand AWS Agency Division, from 2 sellers to a team of 40 sellers with 4 direct sales managers over the next 18 months with Canada and US supporting AWS CSC Division
  • Report to and collaborate with the Softchoice AWS Director to ensure this sales organization becomes an onramp for new AWS customer acquisition through a services lead methodology.
  • Ability to “deal with ambiguity” and have a strong organization agility to get things done
  • Help to build and continuous improvement a training roadmap to upskill reps and managers to deal with complex solutions built on AWS
  • Help to build and improve SMP aligned to AWS Goals as set out in our Strategic Collaboration Agreement.
  • Develop and improve on Key Performance Indicators for Agency model and how they will change as teams manture
  • Build strategic relationships with your AWS counterpart Sales Directors and Partner Sales Directors supporting their territory, leaders and account managers.
  • Model Challenger and MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Initially, you will help to build and manage a team of dedicated AWS Account Executives who will actively pursue onboarding new AWS customers and creating value through AWS services attach.
  • Be obsessed with improving the customer experience - Customer Centric Mindset and coaching your leaders.
  • Work closely with other cross functional leaders to ensure strong customer and business outcomes
  • Work closely with catagory lead to plan and execute on agency POD expansions
  • Work closely with AWS leaders to identify desired location for next AWS pod.
  • Manage Agency Leader performance through regular one on ones
  • Work closely with other departments, like marketing to help create sales programs for Agency.
  • Ensure that Salesforce.com hygiene and processes are followed.
  • Initially, this role will require being a direct leader as we roll out the different pods with an expanded responsibility be added as we grow.
  • Manage a team of AWS account executives, ensuring pipeline health and pipeline conversion is achieved.
  • Forecast reporting, pipeline review and regular communications provided on the status and progress of the team. • Define and document the agency sales team's processes and workflows for new account acquisition. This will include qualification, deal management and handoff to the sales teams.
  • Act as a mentor and coach of the team that reports to this people leader position.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in merit process.
  • Ensure that all team members have an actively managed career development plan.


What you’ll bring to the table:
  • A degree in business or related field
  • 10+ years of sales experience with proven results, with at least 7 of those years being in a sales leadership position
  • AWS certifications and/or accreditations (preferred)
  • Experience leading and growing a team
  • Ability to execute and collaborate with sales and cross functional organizations.
  • Demonstrate a customer first mindset with historical track record of winning new accounts with a services lead approach
  • Creating and implementing KPI and a SMP measured against goals set in collaboration with AWS
  • Working collaboratively with our partner - specifically AWS
  • Manage initially rep performance but soon to be Agency Leader performance through 1:1
  • Continuous working to improve internal programs and the model as a whole.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting to large groups of people
  • Ability to build and execute a prospecting strategy
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical products and services
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred
  • Understanding cloud professional services is required
  • Passionate about technology and learning more about Softchoice capabilities
