Sr. Salesforce Architect, DSP Tech, Last Mile

We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Salesforce Architect to join our team at Last Mile DSP Tech. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Community. In this role, you will design solutions using a blend of out-of-the-box and custom development, mentor team members in their development journey, and provide guidance and examples as needed. You will lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in architecting and developing complex Salesforce solutions, with a thorough understanding of best practices and industry standards.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with product managers and program teams to deliver customized solutions that meet business requirements, enhance user experience, and generate tangible business value.
- Engage in planning and analyzing requirements for system enhancements, translating them into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and products effectively.
- Design scalable and efficient solutions that align with best practices and industry standards.
- Support system integrations across the native Salesforce ecosystem, backend services, and AWS technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning and growth within the organization.

Our Last Mile technology division builds software solutions that work across our vendors, delivery stations and carriers to optimize both time & cost of getting packages into the hands of our customers. This remains a fast growing business, and our technical journey has only started. With rapid expansion into new geographies, unique delivery models for products ranging from Fresh groceries to big-screen TV's, and growing number of shipments worldwide, we will need innovative solutions to scale our software to meet these opportunities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects around applications architecture.
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience along with Salesforce.com Certifications.
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture components including sales and service clouds.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and team members at all levels.
- Advanced skills in Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, lightning experience, apex coding, batch processes, and database design.
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce data model, custom objects, API, governor limits, workflows, and configuration
- Experience with integrating with the Salesforce platform (inbound/outbound) using BULK/REST/SOAP APIs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect preferred.
- Background in application development using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
