Job Description:

Responsible for Performing risk and control self assessments. Responsible for Policy/Controls and Process Documentation. Work with identified Segment Operational Risk Manager in the administration of the corporate risk management program. Work with identified business segment(s) to identify key risks and controls and develop and conduct testing of those controls. Perform the risk and control self assessments. Develop, maintain and continually enhance a proactive operational and regulatory risk management program and related initiatives. Identify, assess, communicate and implement regulatory issuances. Ensure the timely completion of all testing requirements in accordance with guidelines. Assist the business segment in the timely remediation of issues. Help foster a risk awareness culture in the business segment.

o Partners with Technology stakeholders to execute Findings/Action Plan creation and validation

o Directs control evaluation and substantiation activities to ensure timely and appropriate execution of operational risk activities, including the Risk Control Self-Assessment process.

o Ensure appropriate control design and conduct control design reviews with technology and business stakeholders.

o Develop and update best practice documentation to support best in class risk assessment and control evaluation/substantiation activities.

o Oversee and ensure the administration of operational and regulatory risk strategy programs for an identified business segment.

o Deliver timely escalation of all issues requiring attention to senior management.

o Work with business line to identify key risks and controls and develop effective internal control processes and conduct testing of those controls.

o Develops and maintains strong working relationships with business line management through continuous and proactive communications.

o Deliver timely and pertinent analysis to Senior Risk Manager on testing results, highlighting areas requiring attention and activities, which are inconsistent with business line policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES :

o Bachelors degree

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or Operational Risk

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Advanced knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements

o Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

o Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely

o Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

o Proficiency in MS Office Suite
