The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible.

The Senior Service Center Specialist offers reliable customer service and support to a network of Financial Advisors (FAs) by addressing questions, concerns, and issues related to business submissions, form completion, account maintenance, general inquiries, and problem resolution. This role also involves interacting with all levels of the BLS team, as well as with current and prospective public customers, to address inquiries about their securities and advisory accounts.

As a Sr. Service Center Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Answer incoming calls from Financial Advisors (FAs) and customers regarding Bankers Life Security (BLS) products and services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, assess their needs, and address service-related issues.
  • Research inquiries and provide professional responses within specified timeframes.
  • Stay up to date with corporate policies, products, and departmental procedures, and apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Assist FAs in preparing necessary documentation or paperwork to support sales execution.
  • Achieve departmental goals for quality and productivity.
  • Recognize and report customer complaints to compliance and escalate service issues when necessary.
  • Maintain the BLS FA Support email to assist FAs with account opening and handling procedures.
The Sr. Service Center Specialist position is well suited for you if you:
  • Possess or can obtain FINRA Series 7, 63/66 licenses within 90 days of employment.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excel at multi-tasking by researching multiple systems and entering data while conversing with customers.
  • Show a customer-focused and team-oriented attitude.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office products; knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree ispreferred.
  • FINRA Series, 7, 63
  • Effective and professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task by researching multiple systems and entering data while talking to customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
What will set you apart:
  • Bachelor degree in finance is a plus
  • Customer focused and team oriented.
  • 3 years of customer service and/or call center experience.
  • Securities Industry or equivalent financial services experience preferred.
