Sr. Software Engineer B2

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD and Ubuntu coupled with domain expertise in Provider services. This role demands a professional with 6 to 9 years of experience who is adept at developing and enhancing software solutions that meet and exceed our business requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our engineering team driving innovation and improving our service delivery processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to enhance our software delivery efficiency.
• Develop and maintain scalable reliable and secure applications on the Ubuntu platform. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
• Implement standard methodologies in code versioning testing and deployment to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Analyze current technology used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge across the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay abreast of new technology trends and evaluate them for adoption in our engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to software development and data security.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Document all work for future reference and reporting to collaborators.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 43,900- $133,000depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
