Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement and manage CI CD pipelines using Bamboo to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Provide Dev Sec Ops support to maintain the security and integrity of software applications.
• Utilize AWS services to build scalable and reliable cloud-based applications.
• Develop and maintain MongoDB databases to support application data requirements.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 9+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Bamboo Spring Boot CI CD Dev Sec Ops Support AWS MongoDB and Java (Good to have Python ). This role involves designing developing and maintaining software solutions that drive our business forward. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

• Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 9+ years of proven and solid experience.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in Bamboo, Spring Boot, CI CD, Dev Sec Ops Support, AWS, MongoDB, and Java (Good to have Python).
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Show proficiency in designing and developing scalable software solutions.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Have a strong understanding of agile development methodologies.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90K - $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
