Looking for a Prod support person that has experience working in big data, java, linux , and databases

Candidate has to be willing to work onsite twice a week. I will take relo's but have to relo before day 1

Onsite location is Basking Ridge, NJ

Job Description:

Sr. Software Engineer

Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred UHG facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.)

Our preference is to hire someone local to our office location - Basking Ridge, NJ for a hybrid work schedule where they would be in the office a few days a week.

Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes whats being done?
Provide Production application support and implement new business functional requirements

Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members and what is the break-down of the teams skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)?

Selected individual would be part of Data Management & Reporting, would be part of a scrum team of 8-10 people.

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)?

Ideal candidate would have
- Past experience working in dev/ops with expert knowledge of operations support for tier 1 application spanning multiple technologies
- Has experience working in healthcare (payor) domain space.
- Has experience working on large volume data
- Highly collaborative with strong problem solving skills

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)

- Provide Operations support (Production oncall support, Incident and problem ticket resolution) including weekends/holidays as needed
- Collaborate with integrated application to triage & resolve incidents/problem tickets
- Represent the application team on war room calls, escalated issues
- Collate, monitor metrics, identify patterns and permanent fixes
- When not providing operations support, work towards addressing business requirements
- As part of scrum team, strives to understand the features/user story requirements, designs, codes and test an end to end solution that can be incrementally delivered/deployed.

- Kafka streaming - 1+ yrs
- Healthcare (Payor) experience

What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc)

9 AM - 5 PM ; Oncall outside of these hours as needed
