We are currently seeking talented Sr. Staff Field Applications Engineers who want to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.

Job description:

In your new role you will:
  • Support Tier1 Hyperscale customers, driving pre and post design-in activities, contributing to Infineon design-in revenue growth.
  • Develop deep system level knowledge of Hyperscale power architectures, involving 48V bus conversion and vertical power delivery .
  • Create block diagrams while recommending leading-edge solutions that align with customers' design requirements and future product roadmaps.
  • Promote Infineon Enterprise digital power management products (digital controllers, digital power stages, point of load (POLs), and high current power modules ) securing successful design wins for customer projects.
  • Provide technical support to customers to meet or exceed customer's design requirements.
  • Provide technical training to customers on usage of Infineon Enterprise power management product , tools, and software GUIs.
  • Travel for customer meetings at key design locations


Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in power electronics with emphasis on analog/digital LV DC-DC; Multiphase Vcore and Memory solutions a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with DC-DC test plan validation. Working knowledge of Intel/AMD VRTT test tools along with network analyzers to measure loop stability.
  • Electronic system design including conception, block diagrams, schematic capture, PCB layout, and board level debugging.
  • Experience using development tools that include schematic capture, PCB layout, PSpice, and Simplis for PDN analysis and simulation.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Python software to write and edit test scripts for test automation.

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $ 139,100 per year and maximum of $ 191,300 per year

In addition, all full-time employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan
