What you'll do:
As a Sr. Support Analyst Medication Management, you will be responsible for facilitating pharmacy application and automation support, implementations, and optimizations for all Lifepoint Health facilities. The analyst also focuses on formulary support, vendor maintenance, and deployment.
The position assists in the design and implementation of medication management processes and related technology and will work directly with hospitals to set up settings in the system(s), review processes, train, test, go-live, and provide ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
• Management and oversight of many of the aspects of automated dispensing
cabinets (ADC) within the Lifepoint Hospitals facilities
• Training and oversight of building and maintaining clinical information
systems, assisting in ensuring that policies are being followed, establishing,
maintaining, and establishing and assuring the pharmacy department
understands the process and appropriateness of maintaining the clinical
information system.
• Post request/incident resolution with HSC SMEs, and facilities to ensure systems are
performing as designed and to coordinate any needed activities to ensure continued
compliance and efficiency of clinical information systems.
• Support data analytic needs for operations and HSC business owners.
• Fulfill duties and responsibilities assigned or delegated by Manager, Director or AVP.
• Engages facility pharmacy staff, vendors, and others, both from LHSC and the
individual facilities, to support the use of the technology and information in the
clinical information and automation dispensing systems.
• Support short and long-term operational/strategic business activities by
developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information.
• Assist the facilities in maintaining clinical information and automation dispensing systems.
• Weekly progress reports required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
What you'll need:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE: 2 years hospital pharmacy experience required
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or willing to obtain within six (6) months of employment required
