The Amazon Business team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who wants to disrupt the way businesses purchase online. Our team is focused on building solutions to enable large enterprise B2B customers to research, discover and buy business, industrial and scientific products in large catalogs; across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. Our customers include individual professionals, businesses and institutions that buy in either high frequency or in bulk quantities. Our customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer base.

To succeed in this role, you must be a passionate advocate for the customer, always looking to invent and simplify on their behalf. You must think big and build a solution that can scale to meet the global needs of thousands of customers spending millions of dollars with Amazon each year. You must earn trust with technical credibility, pragmatic decision making, and strong follow through working with technology teams across Amazon. And you must dive deep into the technical and experience details to ensure we exceed the high expectations of our customers every day. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen and technical skills and being able to operate at the intersection of the two.

Key job responsibilities

- Drive and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously

- Provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints

- Work closely with stakeholders across various design, software and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long-term product roadmaps

- Lead cross functional development teams from design through delivery

- Accountable for driving the entire product lifecycle, from product definition through specification, coding, quality assurance, data security and privacy, and launch to the world

- Communicate with senior leadership on status, risks and change control

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience with end to end product delivery including roadmap strategy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

- 3+ years of software development experience
